Luxury dog retreat
Mabel & Friends is home to a generously sized and excellently equipped day centre that features a wealth of indoor and outdoor activity space. We have over 2,600 sq ft of secure indoor space and over half an acre of secure grassed area outdoors, meaning there’s more than enough space for our guests to sniff out and explore while they play and stretch their legs.
We have a fully qualified team that operates on a maximum staff:dog ratio of 1:8. This ensures that they’re able to deliver a high standard of care across the board, and keeps levels of attention consistent across all of our guests. We also have a good understanding of the specialist care of Brachycephalic breeds including Pug, English and French Bulldog, Boxer, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Boston Terrier, Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apso.
No dog goes home dirty no matter the time of year! All dogs are washed down if they’ve been playing in wet and muddy fields, they will then have robes on to dry and be put in the lounge to relax. This ensures they are sent home clean and sweet smelling after a fun and relaxing day.
If you opt for our canine taxi option you’ll be please to know that it’s fully fitted out with air flow/heating/air conditioning, and the crates are fitted with rubber flooring to transport your pup safely and comfortably.

with sofas, TVs and dog beds - Our separate puppy lounge allows us to ensure they get the attention they need
- Purpose-built grooming salon and a separate consulting and infectious isolation room
- Pawrents who come to drop off or collect their pooch can enjoy a coffee and
chat with other pawrents in our reception area

Memberships - how it works?
Your first step to getting a membership involves booking a free evaluation session. Once accepted and all documents are uploaded, you’ll then pay a membership fee and receive the following:
- Live CCTV and portal access
- Free workshops and seminars on a range of topics
- “Introduce a friend” discounts
- A reception space for a “coffee and a chat”
- Weekly tips on behaviour, nutrition and dog welfare
- We have qualified staff on hand to help with any doggy concerns
- Discounts on bulk bookings
Memberships cost £100 per annum plus VAT.
